🌱 Why this role matters

 

As a Field Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful execution of contracts signed by the sales team by delivering high-quality on-site services and technical support throughout the entire contract lifecycle.

 

✨ How will you make an impact?

 

You are responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Perform on-site client interventions and conduct technical follow-up calls when required.
  • Carry out technical assessments and define appropriate action plans.
  • Handle all customer support requests escalated by the Service Desk, including interventions on clients’ IT and telecom infrastructures.
  • Manage equipment deliveries and pickups, provide on-site assistance, and resolve technical incidents.
  • Keep both clients and the Service Desk informed until the related ticket is fully resolved, ensuring compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Independently manage assigned tasks and priorities through the ticketing system.
  • Perform troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • In the event of an incident, conduct diagnostics and root cause analysis, implement necessary protective or backup measures, and escalate for support in line with established procedures.

 

🎯 What makes you a great fit

 

  • Technical background in telecommunications, networking, IT, or maintenance.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintaining multi-brand servers, disk storage arrays, and data storage robotics systems.
  • Speak Portuguese, English and Spanish fluently.
  • Ability to develop and document standard operating procedures.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Strong motivation to learn and evolve with new technologies is important.
  • Patience and autonomy in handling technical tasks.
  • Good listening skills, analytical mindset, and strong organizational abilities.
  • Strong written communication and reporting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, service orientation, and team spirit.
