Onsite Engineer (m/w/d) - Zurich

Why your work matters—and what you achieve with it
As an onsite engineer, you will support our customer on site in Vienna and take on a wide range of tasks in data center operations—from technical support and further development of the server and storage infrastructure to incident and lifecycle management of IT systems to support with quality checks and disaster recovery measures.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Setup and configuration of new devices (PCs, laptops, software, updates)
• Assistance with hardware installations (workstations, docking stations, peripherals)
• Checking incoming shipments and recording serial numbers
• Processing device shipments and returns
• Inventory management (laptops, accessories)
• Processing incident and service request tickets (hardware/software)
• Support for on-site assignments and tasks
• Assistance with onboarding new employees
• Support for moves and device replacements
• Installation of software and hardware
• Data maintenance in ITSM

What makes you the ideal employee
We are looking for someone who combines knowledge, experience, and passion:

• Completed basic IT training or equivalent knowledge
• Initial experience in IT support or data centers favorable
• Experience with Windows and hardware
• Team player with a reliable work ethic
• Motivated to learn new things
• Self-motivated and organized
• Good command of German and English
• Class B driver's license favorable
