🌱 Why does this role matter?

 

The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving Evernex’s growth across the Nigerian market. This position is responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for key accounts, developing long-term client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of forecasted and budgeted sales targets. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong commercial leadership, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

✨ How will you make an impact?

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key clients across Nigeria.
  • Drive new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
  • Define and execute account growth and go-to-market strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and key account metrics.
  • Promote Evernex solutions aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to onboard new clients and expand existing accounts.
  • Analyze market trends, customer usage, and sales data to identify growth opportunities.

 

🎯 What makes you a great fit?

  • 3 to 5 years of proven B2B sales experience within the Nigerian market.
  • Solid experience in selling IT hardware services (servers, storage, and networking solutions).
  • Strong track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Energetic, assertive, and confident, with a strong professional presence.
  • Ability to build, cultivate, and sustain long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
