🌱 Why this role matters
The accountant will manage all the general accounting of Malaysia and Hong Kong entities, account receivable for Malaysia and support Hong Kong and the region when require. The accountant will provide all necessary support to the business and finance team ensuring data integrity across all Evernex platforms. He/she will assist in the regional accountant for tax and annual audit.  

 

✨ How will you make an impact?
You are responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Manage month-end closing, reconciliations, and tax processing.
  • Maintain GL and intercompany accounts.
  • Manage regional invoicing, receivables, and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies.
  • Prepare AR aging and financial reports.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, Sales, and customers.
  • Handle customer payments and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Advise Sales on SST matters.

 

🎯 What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Min 3 - 5 years of experience in Accounting, including AP, AR, Cashbook in multi-national company.
  • Experience with MS MS Office applications and QuickBooks is desired. 
  • Attention to details with good working attitude and ethics.
  • Mature, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, independent, detail-oriented, and well organised.
  • Knowledge of an additional language (Mandarin / Cantonese or Japanese) would be an added advantage.
  • Desire to achieve results including the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, timelines, and time zones.
