Our Field Engineers serve as trusted technical experts, supporting customers through targeted troubleshooting and precise service documentation, both remotely and on-site. They take ownership of technical issues and projects, promote proactive maintenance solutions, and contribute through cross-functional collaboration and continuous learning to deliver world-class IT services globally.

✨ How will you make an impact? 

You are responsible for, but not limited to: 

  • Provide on-site technical customer support 

  • Troubleshoot, inspect, and resolve issues on equipment and IT systems in data centers 

  • Deliver detailed technical analysis (1st to 2nd level support) 

  • Communicate with the client’s technical contacts 

  • Manage and follow up on manufacturer warranty cases 

  • Document all performed activities in Salesforce and the Field Service App 

  • Perform preventive maintenance 

  • Support the execution of customer projects 

  • Participate in technical on-call rotations 

🎯 What makes you a great fit 

We are looking for someone who combines knowledge, experience, and passion: 

  • Training as an IT systems electronics technician, IT technician, or comparable qualification 

  • At least 2-5 years of professional experience in the described field of work 

  • Good technical understanding and the ability to independently analyze and solve technical problems 

  • Affinity for hardware and knowledge of manufacturers such as IBM, HP, DELL, or similar in the areas of maintenance and service 

  • Independent work ethic and customer-oriented approach 

  • Willingness to participate in on-call technical services 

  • Good written and spoken German and English skills 

  • Good MS Office skills 

  • Class B driver's license
