🌍 Why does this role matter?

The Transport Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses or directly to customers. By optimizing transport planning, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring on-time delivery, this role directly impacts customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and service quality across the supply chain.

✨ Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all transportation activities from suppliers to warehouses or customers.
• Optimize transport planning to ensure efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage accurate pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation and administration.
• Track and trace shipments, ensuring timely proof of delivery.
• Evaluate, record, and respond to special or additional service requests.
• Collaborate with transportation providers and freight payment teams to manage accessorial costs and billing flows.
• Handle transport-related damage and loss claims in line with company procedures.
• Ensure accurate cost estimates and data entry in the transport planning system.
• Monitor on-time delivery (OTD) performance and follow up on discrepancies with suppliers and Customer Service teams.
• Proactively manage stakeholders by keeping Customer Service, Global Service Centers, and suppliers informed of transport status and issues.

🎯 What makes you a great fit?

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in transportation or logistics operations.
• Proven experience coordinating transport activities in a professional environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with SAP is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of import and export processes is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
